Gear up for some heavy-hauling with the 2022 Lightning at your command. 4x4 drive is standard across all models, while the dual electric motors (one on each axle) work in harmonious efficiency, producing nearly instant torque to the wheels, a targeted 426 horsepower and 775 pound-foot of torque. Upgrade to the extended-range lithium-ion battery for your targeted horsepower to climb to 563. Effortlessly switch between the selectable Drive Modes (Normal, Sport, Tow/Haul and Off-Road) as you experience what the fastest-accelerating F-150 yet feels like, and get ready to deliver 10,000 pounds of max available towing and 2,000 pounds of max available payload.

Utility is still at the heart of the latest addition to the F-Series. The Mega Power Frunk, standard across the entire 2022 Lightning lineup, is a 400-liter front trunk that holds up to 400 pounds (the equivalent of eight 50-lb. bags of ready-mix cement) that can be opened remotely with the FordPass™ app. It’s washable and drainable, plus it holds four Pro Power Onboard 120-volt outlets totaling 2.4kW of exportable power, and it’s designed in the “waterfall-style” for easier loading and unloading. The exterior tauts a 5.5-ft. cargo box on all models, a standard Class IV trailer towing hitch, Enhanced Zone Lighting (front, both sides and rear) and extended running boards with enhanced LED ground lighting. You’ve never been in better hands.

If you’re still not shocked enough to climb inside, the cabin of the F-150 Lightning provides a second current. The standard SYNC® 4 12.0-inch landscape touchscreen can be upgraded to the massive SYNC® 4A 15.5-inch portrait-style touchscreen, but either will display everything from the trailer camera to your Onboard Scales metrics (both available with the Tow Technology Package), from your frequently used apps to your audio. BlueCruise is an advanced feature that uses a driver-facing camera and radar-sensing technologies allowing for hands-free driving on prequalified sections of divided highways called Hands-free Blue Zones that make up more than 100,000 miles of North American roads. Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle. BlueCruise is a hands-free highway driving feature. Only remove hands from the steering wheel when in a Hands-Free Blue Zones. Always watch the road and be prepared to resume control of the vehicle. It does not replace safe driving.
