Under the Inflation Reduction Act, select electric vehicles that were purchased on or after April 18, 2023, with final assembly in North America, may qualify for the Clean Vehicle Credit. The 2023 Ford E-Transit, 2023 Ford Escape PHEV, 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning and 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E have been listed by the Department of Energy as being assembled in North America, which means they may qualify for the tax credit. We also want to highlight that Ford Mustang Mach-E models that are purchased and delivered by December 31, 2022, may be eligible for up to a $7,500 tax credit.
